It started, as most things do, with a problem nobody else seemed to be solving.
Harley came home at eight weeks old, eight pounds of chihuahua and yorkie, with ears too big for his head and opinions too strong for his body. He fit in one hand. He immediately ran the apartment.
The first thing we did was go shopping. We needed a bed, a bowl, a harness, a leash. Basic things. The kind of things that should be easy to find.
They were not easy to find. Not really.
There were plenty of options, pet stores are full of them. But everything was either designed for a labrador, covered in cartoon paw prints, or made of plastic that looked out of place the moment you brought it home. Nothing was sized right for a small dog. Nothing looked like it belonged in a real apartment. Nothing felt like it was made for someone who actually cared about both their dog and their home.
So we started looking harder. We found things slowly, in corners of the internet, from brands nobody had heard of, through a lot of trial and error and a lot of returns. We built Harley a life that worked. A feeding station that looked good in the kitchen. A bed that fit on the couch without taking it over. A harness that actually fit his eight-pound frame.
And then people started asking where we got everything.
That's when Harley & Co. became a real idea. Not a pet store, an edit. A small, carefully chosen collection of things that actually work for small dogs in real homes. Things that earn their place. Things Harley would actually use.
He is very particular. The bar is high. We think that's the point.
