This week's arrivals, as assessed by an 8lb chorkie with no patience for mediocrity:
The Elevated Ceramic Bowl Set
What we said: Ceramic bowls on a walnut stand. Right height for small dogs. Looks good in any kitchen.
What Harley did: Sniffed it. Looked at us. Sniffed it again. Ate from it with what we can only describe as quiet approval. He has used it every meal since without complaint.
Harley's verdict: Approved. Finally, something at the right height. He's been eating off the floor like some kind of animal.
The Stone-Washed Linen Bed
What we said: Small dog sized. Firm base, linen cover, washable. Designed to not be an eyesore.
What Harley did: Walked past it three times. Sniffed one corner. Left the room. Came back twenty minutes later and got in. Has not voluntarily left since.
Harley's verdict: Approved, on his own timeline, on his own terms. As is his way.
The Slim Step-In Harness
What we said: Chest-clip design, padded, correct sizing for under 10lbs.
What Harley did: Submitted to the fitting process with the expression of someone signing paperwork they find tedious. Walk
